About Us

A large part of your Chicago Booth experience is made up of what you choose to do outside the classroom. Our role at Student Programs and Events is to help make sure you get the most from all the activities Chicago Booth offers.

We support all 70 full-time student groups and cohorts and their annual special events. Additionally, we plan and produce program-wide student events such as Orientation, Spring Convocation Weekend, and Second-Year Celebration. Our collaboration with student leaders and other Chicago Booth program offices is designed to create a Chicago Calendar of events that will appeal to you personally and professionally.

Leadership Support

SPE also supports a variety of the opportunities Chicago Booth offers for you to hold leadership positions and be involved in the student community. Besides student group leaders, these include LEAD Facilitators, Career Advisors, and Class Agents.

When it comes to extracurricular leadership involvement, the best way to ensure balance between your academic and extracurricular pursuits is to research each leadership opportunity and the commitment each entails.
